The bangers and mash dish was amazing. It felt like a warm hug which I needed since it was so cold and windy. Great ambiance, great people, and great food.

Yaaaay!! This was our first place we had dinner in Dublin and it was great! This was a short walk from Hilton Garden Inn Custom House Quay.
It was pretty slow when we walked in on a Sunday. We sat upstairs just because, why not? After a while, the server came and took our orders. We started with some hot wings for an appetizer. OMG!!! Some of the best wings I've ever had! That were spicy, crispy, and had great flavor. For dinner with both had fish and chips with green peas. This was hands down the best fish and chips I had during my European tour. So crispy, flaky fish, and delicious batter. The fries were amazing of course, but I love all french fries. There were several groups of folks dining by the time we left. It really was a traditional bar but this one actually has good food. Did I mention the drink specials?! I think I paid 5 euros for Jack & coke.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Nov 27, 2018
I was staying at a hotel nearby and my boyfriend and I were looking for a gastropub to kick off our night after I finished up some work. He quickly located The Brew Dock and we set out. As soon as we walked in, I could tell we had made a good choice. The atmosphere was just what you would expect for a Dublin pub, but with a modern touch. As craft-beer loving tourists, we were excited to be able to try some of the local craft beers on tap. Once we picked out some good brews, we wandered upstairs, grabbed some menus off the wall, and settled on a meat and cheese board and a bowl of soup. The cheese was unbelievable. I loved the hearty brown bread it was served with. The sweet potato curry soup was a perfect, cozy, accompaniment given the misty rain coming down outside. I recommend to locals and tourists alike!

we stayed at an Airbnb nearby and are very glad we found this spot nearby, We were excited to see that Galway carries a ton of beers on tap and we decided to try their:
-MILK STOUT 4/5
-PILSNER 3/5
-blonde ale 5/5 (can't remember the name)
To eat we got:
-Fried Chicken 5/5
-Beer Braised short Rib Philly Cheese Sandwich 6/5 (yes 6 out of 5)
-Burger 4/5
-Double fried Chips 5/5 (had these as leftovers and they still tasted amazing!)
The ambiance was perfect for what we needed. It was a Sunday night and we were really happy they were open, there was only like 3 people at the bar and another table taken. Not sure if there was anyone upstairs but we enjoyed being able to talk amongst ourselves.
STAFF- was great, very attentive and on top of their beer knowledge which helped us decide between a few beers.
definitely a great welcoming spot for our first night out in DUBLIN!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 5, 2014
What a great pub! Close to our hotel in the Docklands.
An amazing selection of beers, both Local Irish and a few from the US.
The staff is amazing and knowledgable.
The locals are super friendly, made us feel right at home.
If I didn't know better, I would think this was my local brew pub back in Vegas.
A must try if you want to try "other" Irish beers while in Dublin.
Soo happy we found this pub.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mark D.IFSC, Dublin, Republic of Ireland77566Jan 10, 2016
The brew dog.
What a quality spot. A beer cave to explore.
The extremely friendly staff take the care and time with each and every thirsty customer to ensure their taste and beer buds are met.
The food is filling and exactly what you'll be looking for while drinking your new favourite beer! ( please get sweet potato chips back )
Waste the day/night away passing janga under candle light!
I love this place. It's exactly what I want in a bar. World class service with quality beer. ( please also, get more tap 6 and bring in Wicklow wolf )
Keep up the great service.
Well done.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 236036Nov 2, 2017
Good food and a decent selection of beers, but not Guinness. It's a limited menu, and the service is a little awkward as you have to get the clipboards yourself. It's hit or miss if the server notices you. The fish and chips are excellent. Ditto the onion rings and sweet potato fries (with Irish chili is an option). Irish chili is a little odd. Skip the boring pork/chorizo burger.

I came here last weekend as a first time solo traveler. I sat at the bar and had a great time drinking and chatting with the bartenders and manager. Everyone was beyond friendly, and even gave me some great recommendations to do in Dublin. I just even made friends with other patrons that sat at the bar as well. The atmosphere is excellent. They have board games and such which would be fun if you brought a group of friends. I also got the fish and chips as recommended by my waitress, they were very tasty.
